GSDF Osprey bound for Chiba for repair

YONAGUNI, Japan, Dec. 19 Kyodo - The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force begins moving a V-22 Osprey aircraft out of Yonaguni Island in the southern Japan prefecture of Okinawa on Dec. 19, 2024, as it is to be repaired at the GSDF's base in Chiba Prefecture following an accident during a Japan-U.S. joint drill in the westernmost Japanese island in October.
